The Security 4X Advanced Cognos Analytics Connector for Ping provides additional specialized integration capabilities that are purpose built to support requirements for IBM Cognos Analytics customers (including IBM CloudPak for Data and IBM Cognos Analytics Certified Container customers):

Set Up Security in Advance – Cognos doesn’t easily accommodate security being applied to a Ping user until the user has logged in, however with the Security 4X Advanced Analytics Connector for Ping Identity, all user security and memberships can be set up in advance. Simply add one or many users to a policy and Security 4X will take care of all instructions and changes to Cognos. Whether users have completed the Ping registration process or not, all security can be in place before the user logs into Cognos for the first time.
On-Demand User Security Changes – Allow business and IT to move one or multiple users between security policies on-demand with changes applied immediately while preserving live user status information from Ping.
Bulk User Removal – Use Security 4X to automatically remove Cognos user access where users no longer have a valid Ping status.
Cognos License Compliance Tracking – All changes to security policies or memberships in Security 4X will automatically track against Cognos License Compliance criteria, including reporting of available or used licenses, as well as policy membership counts.
Quick & Easy User Migration – Migrate users from previous namespaces to Ping Identity accounts preserving all content from past namespaces and migrating all user permissions.
