Attain Insight has joined the Biometrics Institute, the independent and impartial international membership organisation for biometric users and other interested parties.
Attain Insight helps organizations unlock intelligence from identity data while protecting individual privacy. Through privacy-preserving biometric anonymization, Attain Insight enables agencies, enterprises, and critical infrastructure organizations to gain insights without exposing personally identifiable information. The company is committed to ensuring biometric technologies are deployed responsibly, ethically, and with trust at their core.
Established in 2001, the Biometrics Institute connects the global biometrics community and will celebrate its 25th anniversary and Silver Jubilee in 2026. Marking a quarter-century of promoting the responsible, ethical and effective use of biometrics, the Institute has offices in London, England and Sydney, Australia and hosts international events to share knowledge on current and future biometrics developments. The Institute’s work is founded on trust, developing good practices and thought leadership to support the responsible use of biometrics and related technologies.
By joining this prestigious network, Attain Insight connects with a multi-stakeholder community of more than 200 organisations across 43 countries. Members include banks, airlines, government agencies, and privacy experts, alongside 18 Observers representing United Nations agencies, intergovernmental organisations (IGOs), and European Union institutions.
“As biometric technologies become more widely adopted, ensuring they are used responsibly and with privacy by design is essential,” said Paul Hulford, CEO of Attain Insight. “Joining the Biometrics Institute aligns with our mission to enable trusted identity intelligence while protecting individual privacy, and we look forward to contributing to the global dialogue on ethical biometric use.”
